Exception from the driving ban on weekends and public holidays in the Czech Republic
The Ministry of Transport has approved an exception from the driving ban on highways and class I roads in the Czech Republic for trucks and special vehicles with a maximum permitted weight exceeding 7.5 tonnes and trucks and special vehicles with a maximum permitted weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes with an attached trailer.
The exception came into effect on March 13, 2020, at 3.00 p.m. It will remain in effect during the state of emergency period, however, no longer than a year at the most.
