Safety at railway crossings

There is a dense railway network in the Czech Republic, which also means a large number of railway crossings. Many of these railway crossings are not protected by level-crossing barriers, but they are “only” highlighted by light signalization. Unfortunately, the number of traffic accidents at railway crossings has been significantly increasing in recent years. Unfortunately, it is largely caused by foreign drivers who have wrongly assessed the given situation. It is very important to observe the rules for crossing such sections. The consequences of traffic accidents at railway crossings are usually fatal.
