A new toll in the Czech Republic will be launched from 1 December 2019 – do not forget to register in time

Although several weeks have passed since the beginning of the registration of vehicles into the new electronic toll system in the Czech Republic, foreign carriers have only registered a small number of vehicles in the new toll system compared to the current situation. If carriers or their drivers fail to register in time and secure the new on-board units, there is a risk of traffic collapsing at the border crossings to the Czech Republic at the turn of the year. In particular, we warn carriers from Poland, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Lithuania not to underestimate registering in time. A total of 263,000 vehicles are registered from these countries under the current toll system. Only 38,000 vehicles were enrolled in the new system four weeks after the start of registration.
