Removing ice from the vehicle

In winter, lorry drivers should check their vehicle before driving it and remove any ice or larger amounts of snow.  When driving, it is not uncommon for ice to fall from a lorry, damaging the vehicle behind it and even seriously injuring the driver. The next step depends on the severity of injuries, but in the event that their vehicle is not thoroughly cleaned, drivers run the risk incurring fines of up to CZK 2,000 as well as other sanctions which could follow if the incident results in an injury.
