Rescue Lane

A rescue lane must be formed on roads for the passage of integrated rescue system vehicles (police, fire brigade, ambulance). You must already be positioning your vehicle to create such a lane as you approach a traffic jam, meaning you should not wait until you hear a rescue vehicle approaching. The Czech police take a serious approach to rescue lanes and failure to comply can incur a fine of up to CZK 2,500. The way to form a rescue lane is shown here: https://transit.tir.cz/en/regulations/
