Drivers are obliged to carry a negative test at the entry to the Czech Republic

As of 14 February 2021 Germany will classify the Czech Republic as “an area of variant of concern” and at the same will reintroduce the border controls. Entry to Germany from the Czech Republic will be allowed only to a limited number of categories of travellers (such as transport personnel or some categories of cross-border workers) who will be obliged to present a negative PCR/antigen test result not older than 48 hours on the entry. The obligation to present a negative test will apply also to persons transiting the Czech Republic, including transport workers. In response to this situation, the conditions for entry into the Czech Republic were adjusted as well.

Transport personnel who transit through the Czech Republic to Germany will be newly obliged to carry a negative PCR/antigen test result not older than 36 hours at the entry to the Czech Republic.
